Customer Reviews/Testimonials
After successfully researching the 1875 D. G. Beers Atlas in the Lewis County, "NY Courthouse for possible locations of family residences for the township of West Turin, all I could hope for was the possibility of obtaining a facsimile of the West Turin township map. I was so fortunate to find your website. Your reproductions are excellent and beautifully reproduced. Thank you so much for your offerings that facilitate further family research."

"I recently ordered maps for a wedding git and it looked absolutely classic in a frame. No one would ever know how affordable a gift like this is! Thanks again - good Christmas idea!" R. S. 12/15/2008
"This is exactly what I was looking for! The example photo that shows the map and town description matted together is a great idea. It inspired me to order both and frame them as shown." J.L. 6/21/2007
"Fantastic to find these old maps! ... and so many of them! I'll be back to browse and ship again." 12/04/2006
"I found out about your historical maps at a craft show in Connecticut. I loved your maps so much I had to buy one. I purchased the Milford, Ct map and had it framed and placed it in my living room above my fireplace. Everyone that comes to my house just stares at the map and asks where I purchased it. I wanted to buy more maps for my friends for Christmas, and was wondering
how I would find you. Luckily, I found your website and purchased a map of Oxford, Ct, Winchester, Ct, and Carmel, NY, in early December. Everyone loved the gift so much. Thank you."
"Once again this year, one of your maps was the most-fought-over gift at our family's annual Yankee Swap. Everyone wanted it!" 12/29/2005

"I really am thrilled with the map. I was at the National Archives today looking at 1860 and 1870 census data. I could actually visualize the census taker going from house to house after seeing the map."

"I wanted to tell you that the count is now up to THREE great great grandfathers, a widowed great great grandmother, and a great grandfather. And that's just on two maps. I've even found the ancestral farm. My 4-g's grandfather, James Reed, came to Amenia after King Philip's War. The old newspapers I've been reading keep saying that James lived on the farm "now occupied by Newton Reed". This has not be helpful, since I had no way of knowing where Newton Reed lived. Well, I found Newton, meaning I've also found the ancestral farm. Now I can compare this map to a modern map and actually drive up to Amenia and see these places. I've driven by all these places many times, with no idea that I'd found what I was looking for. Thanks again. I hope your business prospers. I'm sure I'll be buying more. "

"What a great find your company was for me! I'm a native Vermonter (if you couldn't tell by my order!!)."

"My excitement over the Newtown, Danbury, and Ridgefield maps is renewed every time I get back to transcribing my great grandmother's journal of daily occurrences from 1855 through 1902. Just today I located E. Starr's piece good shop in Newtown. He frequently bought cloth for Charlotte and her mother to make pants for about 37 cents a piece ... The shop where she went daily to bind several dozen hats on a new device called a sewing machine is on the Danbury map. Between the Johnson's house and the shop was the house of my great grandfather whom Charlotte was to marry years later after his first wife died. These maps provide me with a great time machine for visualizing the lives of these ancestors."

"I want to thank you for both your wonderful maps and your excellent service. I recently ordered two of your New York maps and was able to locate my g-g-g-g-grandfather's farm in Dutchess Co. I was so impressed with the maps that I ordered two more for Christmas gifts--never expecting them to arrive in time as I mailed the order on December 13th. I was delighted when the maps arrived within a week! Having the maps matted in a standard 16 x 20 size is an extra benefit. Thanks again!"

Dear Historical Ink ...
Thank you for the wonderful maps and for sending them so quickly ... and so beautifully packaged. I'd expected to find my great-grandfather ... and I did ... but I was amazed to find my grandfather on the other size of the family. Yours must be a fun business. All the best, and thanks again ...
